Bio-Peel Refresher R720 30min
Lunch time peel removes outermost dead skin cells, revealing brighter, fresher skin. Recommended for all skin types. Aesthetician will choose between Glycolic, Salicylic or Lactic acid.
Bio-Resurfacer R720 30min
Resurface the skin for a smoother texture and refines the pores. This peel is a combination of TCA and Tranexamic acid that is safe for all skin types.
Bio-Peel Brightener R880 30min
Enlighten and resurface the skin with a high boost of antioxidants. Recommended for pigmentation, uneven skin tone, fine lines and scarring. Aesthetician will choose between Vitamin C, Glutathione or Tranexamic Acid.
Bio-Rebuild R720 30min
Potent antioxidants to rebuild the skin's barrier. Ideally for Rosacea and Pruritus.

Meso-De Pigmenting Peel R900 30min
Used for pigmentary imperfections such as epidermal pigmentation, sun spots, freckles, dull skin and scarring. Aesthetician will choose between Phytic, Azelaic, TCA and/or Tranexamic acid.

FAQ

What are the side effects of Acnelan peel?

Side effects associated with this procedure are minimal and mild. You may feel a mild heat sensation after the procedure. You may also feel mild irritation and the treated site may redden. Your skin can also peel for 3 to 5 days after the procedure.

48 hours post, avoid swimming pools, saunas, or spas. 2 weeks post, avoid waxing on treatment site. Do not pick any peeling / flaking skin as this can cause scarring.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST? To maintain the results of the Acnelan peel strict home care and maintenance is essential. In more severe cases 2-4 treatment programs may need to be performed each year to completely resolve the acne.

alicylic acid is one ingredient that may cause a temporary bout of acne. 1 Known as "skin purging," worsening acne is a short-term reaction to ingredients that speed up cell turnover. Salicylic acid helps your body quickly get rid of dead skin cells.

How Effective Is Acnelan? Clinical trials have proven that the acnelan peel significantly reduces inflammatory acne lesions and post-acne pigmentation, with reduced sebum (oils) and improvement of skin texture in 100 per cent of cases.

The properties of m. acne complex™ have been studied at an in-vitro level, and they have shown to reduce redness and swelling in lesions, as well as to have a depigmentation effect by reducing the ability to synthesise melanin. - Decrease in sebum production: this slows down the secretory activity of sebaceous glands.

The Cosmelan Peel is suitable for individuals with various types of hyperpigmentation, including melasma, age spots, and sun spots. It is effective for all skin types and tones.

Redness, peeling and sensitivity subside within 7 days, however prolong peeling can occur and continue up to 14 days.

It's also important to be realistic and consider that your pigment will probably return, but less so if you continue a regular maintenance home including diligent SPF daily (I reccomend a daily pigmented SPF 50+ - my favourite is Melan 130). Make sure you are using enough SPF.
